Wasn't happy with the way that they handle the situation with my airbag light. I've brought it back to them 3 times to repair because Everytime I moved my passenger seat the airbag light came on. Again this time I moved my passenger seat and the next day the light was on ,only this time it was a $500.00 repair and I felt kinda upset because I felt if the switch under the passenger seat was repaired properly I would not had to keep coming back to the shop for the same issues. They gave me and explanation and also gave me a diagram of the wiring and a code that they said they have never seen before. b0104. I am confident that if I didn't move that passenger seat I wouldn't have had to bring my truck back to them. I felt no compassion for this issue from this shop this time, and they have been my only shop in the past 5 years whom I have spent thousands on repairs and maintenance with them for my 2005chevy Avalanche. However I will continue to use their mechanical services because I believe in loyalty to one shop. Just sometimes I may be forced to get a second opinion from a Chevy dealership if something seems kinda far fetched . As a customer it's good to feel appreciated and feel some compassion for returning customers it builds trust.

I am sorry to hear that you are unhappy with your recent service. Your recent visit presented us with two codes in the air bag system: b0092 and b0104. The b0092 code is related to communication between the passenger seat occupancy sensor and a module under the passenger seat which communicates with modules in the rest of the vehicle on a network. We made a repair seventeen months ago to a damaged wire in the harness under the passenger seat and repaired it a second time four months later at no charge. During this recent service we found the wire we repaired had been pulled apart and repaired it at no charge to you. We also credited your invoice with the amount you spent on the original repair. Your charge for the most recent service was to test and repair the b0104 code related to the front impact sensors. We replaced a failed sensor that lives under the front bumper to detect crashes and deploy the air bags and communicates with the crash module under the driver's seat. During your visit you expressed concerns that these two issues were related with one having caused the other. The wiring diagrams were presented to illustrate that each sensor communicates to a separate module which can each request the air bag light. You are encouraged to get a second opinion from the service department at a GM dealer regarding this issue. If they can demonstrate an error in our findings we are willing to discuss this matter further. We appreciate the loyalty of our customers and are concerned when they experience service that is less than expected. Unfortunately, we can not extend warranty repairs to cover failures on parts of the vehicle we have not serviced.

Engine light came on my Ford F-150, called Midwest Autoworx and made an appointment. They thoroughly checked it out, identified the problem and ordered part needed. They sent me home with a loaner vehicle until part came in next day and repaired my vehicle. Runs well now and the friendly staff was very helpful!

I needed new tires and the mechanic took the time to show me where the old ones were worn, gave me options on brands, and found me a ride home while they put them on. Same day service!

My 25 yo daughter took her car in for a safety inspection and had no issues. Last year, she took her car to Custom Muffler for a safety inspection and was told she needed new ball joints for north of $500. I took the same car to MidWest Autoworx subsequent to that inspection and was not told I needed new ball joints. Based on my experience so far, 1) they don't seem to take advantage of young women like my daughter who aren't auto-savy and thus 2), they seem more trustworthy.
